    Early Life

    From San Juan to the World

    Humberto Román was born on October 11, 1989, in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and spent much of his life in Carolina before eventually relocating to Arlington, Texas. Growing up, he developed a strong passion for athletics and became a member of Puerto Rico's National Gymnastics Team, where he learned the discipline, consistency, and resilience that would later shape his entrepreneurial mindset.

    Throughout his career, Humberto has pursued a wide range of professional experiences. He worked as a farmer, gaining firsthand experience in hard work and operations, and later served as a Project Manager for the American Red Cross, helping coordinate programs and initiatives that impacted local communities.

    He also pursued higher education, earning a Master's degree in Urban Planning, a field that strengthened his ability to think strategically, solve complex problems, and design systems for long-term growth.

    Despite following a traditional professional path for many years, Humberto always felt drawn to entrepreneurship. His passion for building businesses, helping people, and creating opportunities eventually led him into the travel industry.

    Entering the Travel Industry

    Before entering the travel industry, Humberto built his career across multiple fields, including public service, nonprofit leadership, agriculture, and urban planning. Throughout those experiences, he developed a passion for systems, operations, and helping people solve complex problems.

    After becoming a travel agent, he quickly realized that many agents struggled not because of a lack of opportunity, but because they lacked structure, guidance, and business education. While many focused solely on booking trips, Humberto became increasingly interested in the business side of the industry—lead generation, systems, client acquisition, team building, and long-term growth.

    As he continued growing his own travel business, he began helping other agents organize their operations, improve their processes, and develop strategies for attracting clients and building organizations. What started as informal coaching and mentorship eventually evolved into a larger vision: creating a system that could help travel agents build real businesses instead of trying to figure everything out on their own.

    This vision ultimately became the foundation for KLIENTO.

    In 2025, Humberto founded KLIENTO, an educational platform and business development ecosystem designed to help travel agents start, grow, and scale successful travel businesses. Drawing from his own experiences as an entrepreneur, travel agent, and consultant, he created KLIENTO to provide the structure, systems, training, and support that many agents are missing when they enter the industry.

    Through KLIENTO, agents gain access to guided courses, business consulting, AI-powered tools, community support, growth strategies, public profile systems, and resources designed to help them attract clients, build organizations, and create long-term residual income. The platform was built around a simple mission: helping travel agents build real businesses instead of relying on trial and error.

    Today, KLIENTO continues to grow as a community of ambitious travel professionals who are committed to improving their skills, growing their businesses, and creating greater opportunities for themselves and their families.
